Lots of Work

ahead of me. It looks like I'm just gonna play on my own again and it looks like I'm starting from the very bottom (exactly where I started the year).

I'm feeling pretty awful right now about the way everything has happened over the last four months. Several things went wrong during the same period of time. I just simply shouldn't be in this situation, yet I am. It disgusts me a lot to think about it right now and the sooner I forget about it the better.

I'm not sure what my update status will be on the blog. I expected I would have shipped something significant by now but I haven't. And whats worse is I'm starting completely over.

To be completely honest, I feel really really sick about poker right now. I'm not 100% sure I'm gonna dive back into the micros full steam ahead like I have a couple times before. I know it will yield success and move me up again to midstakes but the excitement of all that is lacking in the moment.

As usual, with me, who knows how I'll feel at a certain point in time or why. I can't see myself doing anything other than poker (in terms of income) so it's not like I'm gonna quit. I just don't know if I'm gonna put in the necessary volume to crush micro and roll into low/midstakes. No matter what, meh, I'm not sure I care as much as I used to.

Hope all your Holidays have been going great so far. Merry Xmas in advance :)

Hey, sorry you are feeling down right now. I gotta say, in my experience being on your own is 150% the way to go. (Unless you have some deal where someone just has your Sunday or live action).

Chances are, you will be profiting more beating the lower stakes on your own, then what you were doing before.

Anyways, just thought I would say GL and it might be a blessing in disguise.

mate i check your page everyday i think you should take more pride in your accomplishments. where you started and where you are now is actually a positive and you should use it as a motivation to want to play better and improve your game.

i am a regular to your website and sorry to hear you feeling down. Just wanted to say keep your chin up, everything would fall in place and you would be back in the hunt. Hope everything would be well, saw others trying to motivate you, so wanted to chime in too. Good luck man!

Look, I just wanted to add my support and agreement with what the others have said. Checking your very healthy roi playing what appears to be $10+$1 and $24+$2 S&G's on sharkscope tells me that you only have to kick back to those for a while to rebuild you bankroll. Think how deep you get in the MTT's (sometimes not cashing even if you are in the top 15%).....that equates to many cashes in S&G's. You have the talent. Rebuild and move up to higher stakes when your bankroll justifies it. Hope I don't run into you on the tables!! GL man, Richard OZ (on Fulltilt)
